Dauphine Debate Society (DDS)

The Dauphine Debate Society (DDS) is a non-political organisation created in November 2016. We organize conferences, debates and public speaking competitions for students. 

We aspire to help students improve their public speaking skills, to argue in front of an audience, and to benefit from the intervention of experienced people in every professional sectors. 

 

OUR EVENTS

  • Debate : Is national sovereignty compatible with the European Union ? (December 15th, 2016)

 

  • Presidential debate (March 23rd, 2017) :  in collaboration with the French societies of UCL, LSE and KCL

 

  • A public speaking competition at Dauphine (April 28th, 2017) : 

Should we ride a unicorn to be the world master ?

Should we be naked to be transparent ? 

Is a gangbang a future/growing social network ?

Can we possess it all ?

Do your eulogy.

Violence : an asset or a weakness ?

What if the best journey was motionless ?

Being successful in life, it's being rich of...

JOIN US

Every students from Dauphine and UCL is free to join our board. Motivation and involvement are the only two requirements to join the DDS.

Anyone can join the events we organize.
